Oscars 2025: Halle Berry and Adrien Brody recreate their ICONIC 2003 kiss on the red carpet - WATCH

One of the Oscars 2025’s biggest moments went down far away from the big stage. Fans were treated to an epic moment at this year’s Academy Awards as Halle Berry and Adrien Brody recreated their famous on-stage kiss from 2003, this time on the red carpet.
The unexpected red carpet moment came over two decades after Brody stunned audiences by kissing Berry when he won Best Actor for ‘The Pianist’. Berry, dazzling in a shimmery silver gown, was seen surprising Brody, who is the frontrunner to win his second Academy Award for his role in The Brutalist.
While the actor was giving interviews to reporters on the red carpet, Berry interrupted him for a moment and puckered up and went in for a kiss. The jaw-dropping moment left onlookers stunned as they hooted and cheered the two on. The kiss drew cheers and laughter from onlookers, including Brody’s girlfriend, Georgina Chapman, who was seen hooting and clapping at the playful exchange.
Berry, laughing, turned to Chapman and said, “I’m sorry!”—a moment that only added to the fun.
The Oscars official handle shared the video of the epic moment with the caption, “A reunion 22 years in the making.”
While Brody’s original 2003 kiss was spontaneous, this time, Berry appeared to be in on the joke, sharing a lighthearted exchange with her fellow Academy Award winner.
Adrien is the front-runner to win this year’s Academy Award in the Best Actor category. He, however, faces stiff competition in the Best Actor category, going up against Timothee Chalamet for “A Complete Unknown”, Colman Domingo for “Sing Sing”, Ralph Fiennes for “Conclave” and Sebastian Stan for “The Apprentice”.
