Back in time, in an interview with BBC Asian Network, Abhishek Bachchan had slammed all those who commented on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s beauty and called her ‘plastic’. He appreciated Aishwarya’s decision especially when it came to picking films and said that she has done many daring roles that did not focus on her beauty. He was quoted saying, “Actually if you go to see, and now I’m not speaking like a husband, I’m speaking as a co-star and an actor. She happens to have done some of the most daring kind of roles, that an actor who’s basically meant to have been known only for her beauty, could have done.” He did mention that films like Chokar Bali, Provoked, Raincoat, Guru and more only showcased Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s talent and weren’t focused on her beauty. Abhishek was lauded by his fans for being a doting husband, strongly supporting his wife. The statement had gone viral in entertainment news.
