Nilu Kohli reminisced about meeting Deepika Padukone on Break Ke Baad sets in Mauritius, admiring her beauty. She also praised Anushka Sharma’s simplicity, highlighting her grounded nature and lack of starry tantrums. Throughout her career, Nilu has collaborated with many A-listers in the Hindi film industry.
In a chat with Hindi Rush, Nilu recalled an amusing incident from Break Ke Baad sets in Mauritius, where her love for plants accidentally caused trouble with Deepika Padukone. While watering a drying bouquet, some water unintentionally splashed on Deepika’s face. Awestruck by her beauty, Nilu quickly apologized for the mishap.

Nilu further fondly recalled working with Anushka Sharma on Patiala House, admiring her warm and approachable nature. She praised Anushka’s simplicity, noting how effortlessly she blended with the cast and crew, chatting and interacting without any airs, proving that stars are often more relatable than they seem.

Meanwhile, Deepika recently responded to being called one of Bollywood’s highest-paid actresses, expressing hope for a future where such discussions aren’t necessary. She emphasized the need for gender pay equality in the industry, wishing for a time when actors are valued for their talent rather than their earnings.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and has made several public appearances after welcoming her daughter, Dua. However, she hasn’t announced her next project yet. Meanwhile, Anushka Sharma has been away from films since Zero (2018), her last appearance alongside Shah Rukh Khan.
