Naked chaos at 30,000 feet? Southwest passenger strips, screams, and storms cockpit
The woman, initially fully clothed, suddenly walked to the front of the plane and demanded to be let off.

Passengers aboard a Southwest flight from Houston to Phoenix were in for an unexpected show when a woman stripped naked mid-taxi, screamed at the top of her lungs, and tried to storm the cockpit in a bizarre preflight meltdown.
Eyewitnesses described the scene as “completely unexpected.” The woman, initially fully clothed, suddenly walked to the front of the plane and demanded to be let off. When the crew continued taxiing, she lost control—jumping, screaming, and then stripping down to nothing.
“She just started taking everything off—her hat, her shoes, everything,” one stunned passenger told 12 News.
As the cabin descended into chaos, the nude flyer paced up and down the aisle, ignoring shocked passengers, including young children. Things escalated further when she began banging on the cockpit door, demanding entry, and rubbed her bare body against a flight attendant.
With the situation spiraling, the pilot turned the plane back to the gate, where airline staff attempted to intervene. A worker tried to cover the woman with a blanket, but she broke free and bolted out of the aircraft.
Houston police later detained her and transported her to a hospital for a medical evaluation. No charges have been filed.
Southwest Airlines issued a statement apologizing for the one-hour delay, thanking passengers for their patience. However, for those onboard, it was a flight they won’t forget anytime soon.
