Nadeem Saifi calls Divya Bharti a 'volcano of talent': 'Aisi deewangi thi...'

Actress Divya Bharti left an indelible mark on Bollywood before her tragic demise at just 19. February 25 marked her birth anniversary, and renowned music composer Nadeem Saifi from the legendary Nadeem-Shravan duo fondly recalled her remarkable abilities. He called her a “volcano of talent.”
During a conversation with Radio Nasha, Nadeem reflected on his memorable collaborations with Divya, highlighting some of the most iconic songs he composed for her films, including Deewana, Dil Ka Kya Kasoor, and Rang. He expressed, “Oh my God, Divya was so talented. Divya Bharti was a volcano of talent. Unke upar toh ek-se-ek gaane diye hai.” To honour her memory, Nadeem even sang a few lines from Deewana‘s title track: “Aisi deewangi thi… woh sama aisa tha ki deewanapan tha,” he concluded.

Pahlaj Nihalani makes shocking revelations about Divya Bharti: ‘She ‘refused’ to be paired opposite Chunky Panday in the 1993-film ‘Aankhen’

Divya Bharti began her career in Telugu cinema as a child artist before making a grand entry into Bollywood with ‘Vishwatma’ in 1992. She swiftly rose to prominence, delivering consecutive box-office hits like Shola Aur Shabnam, Deewana, Balwaan, and Kshatriya. In a short span, she became one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry, capable of matching up to Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit.
However, her life was tragically cut short on April 5, 1993, when she allegedly fell from the balcony of her fifth-floor residence at Tulsi Building in Versova, Andheri West.
