As expected, Mukesh Ambani leads the list with a whopping net worth of $119.5 billion, followed closely by Gautam Adani and family in second place with a net worth of $116 billion. The list also includes prominent figures like Savitri Jindal and other renowned business leaders like Kumar Birla and Cyrus Poonawalla.
According to Forbes, the collective worth of India’s 100 richest tycoons surpassed a trillion dollars, setting a new record. Their collective wealth saw a remarkable increase of 40% from $799 billion in 2023, driven by the robust performance of the stock market, with the BSE Sensex gaining 30% compared to last year.
