MSC Cruises has teamed up with the upcoming “F1” movie, bringing their brand into the high-speed world of Formula 1® in this highly anticipated film release.
MSC Cruises has excitedly formed a collaboration with the upcoming Formula 1® movie “F1,” a project by Apple Original Films with Jerry Bruckheimer producing and Joseph Kosinski directing. Scheduled for a North American release by Warner Bros. Pictures in theatres and IMAX on June 27, 2025, and an international release starting June 25, 2025, the film is generating significant buzz.
The cruise line’s branding will be prominently displayed within the film, appearing on the fictional APXGP car and team uniforms, as well as on the race tracks featured in the film’s plot.
The movie features Brad Pitt portraying a former Formula 1® driver making a comeback, with Damson Idris as his APXGP teammate. Filmed during actual Formula 1® race weekends, the narrative follows their competition with the sport’s leading figures. The film boasts an impressive cast including Oscar nominees Kerry Condon and Oscar winner Javier Bardem, alongside Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo.
As a Formula 1® Global Partner, MSC Cruises has committed to a multi-year agreement extending to the end of the 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season.
