The 14-year-old continued to shine, scoring a mature 57 off 33 balls. His knock, filled with confidence and clean hitting, helped RR close their season on a high.Yashasvi Jaiswal gave the team a flying start with a quick 36, while skipper Sanju Samson (41) played second fiddle in a 98-run partnership with Suryavanshi. The Royals looked in complete control for most of the chase. Even when three wickets fell quickly towards the end, Dhruv Jurel (31 not out) and Shimron Hetmyer (12 not out) ensured there were no hiccups, sealing victory with 17 balls to spare.Earlier, Chennai posted 187/8, but their innings was marked by inconsistency. Ayush Mhatre stood out with a blistering 43 off 20 balls, supported by Dewald Brevis (42) and Shivam Dube (39). However, once again, CSK’s middle order faltered, and the team collapsed after a promising start. MS Dhoni couldn’t provide the late flourish, scoring a slow 16 off 17 balls.

CSK’s innings was derailed by sharp spells from Yudhvir Singh (3/47) and Akash Madhwal (3/29), who shared six wickets between them. This defeat leaves CSK needing a massive win in their final match to avoid finishing last in the points table for the first time in IPL history. For the Royals, though, this was a night to celebrate their young star and sign off with pride.
