Mika Singh reacts to Udit Narayan's kissing controversy: 'Jhumma Chumma mere student aaye hai'

Udit Narayan was in the news recently for kissing a female fan when he was performing live on stage. This fan came near the stage to take a selfie with him and she tried to kiss him on the cheeks. The singer then kissed her on the lips. This created a huge buzz on social media and he was also facing a lot of criticism. Many years ago, Mika Singh had kissed Rakhi Sawant without her consent at his birthday party and that created a huge controversy.
Mika is often called the ‘controversy King’. The singer reacted to this tag and also spoke about Udit Narayan’s recent incident. He said during a chat with Pinkvilla, “Controversy hoti hi bade aadmi ki. Isiliye mujhe controversy King tag bolna ya sunna accha lagta hai. Amitabh Bachchan ko dekh lo. Log wait karte hai ke unke baare mein kuch pataa chale. Shah Rukh Khan sahab ko dekh lo. Salman Khan dekh lo. Aamir Khan. Singer mein main akela hu. Singer mein ek Mika Singh hai. Jhumma Chumma mere ek student aaye. Udit Narayan sahab. Kahin na kahin unke mann mein meri purani controversy hi hogi. Main toh tab haalanki baccha hi tha tabhi. Toh har insaan ko Mika Singh banna hai. Joh main farmhouse banaaunga, inko wohi bananaa hai. Lake wala banaaunga toh unko bhi lake wala banaana hai. Inko ghode lene hai, dogs paalne hai. Main aaj badi gaadi lunga toh unko bhi leni hai. (Controversies happen with big people only. Look at Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan. I’m alone in singers. But now there is a new ‘Jhumma Chumma’ student of mine. Udit Narayan Sahab. Somewhere when he did that, he must have thought of my old controversy. Though, I was just a kid that time. But people want to copy me and everything I do).”
He added, “Ek swag hota hai joh kisiko dekhke seekhte hai. Main Shah Rukh Khan sahab se seekhta hu. Woh star hai, uske saath saath well spoken hai aur bohot bade businessman hai. Inspiration milti hai logon ko. (It’s not about me showing off my money but people have a certain swag which others want to emulate. For instance, I get inspired from Shah Rukh Khan. He is a star but so well spoken and he’s also a very good businessman. People are inspired by him).”
Meanwhile, Udit Narayan had reacted to the controversy and told ETimes that he’s not apologetic about the whole kissing incident as it’s just pure love between him and his fans.
