Marseille are interested in signing Mason Greenwood from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to talkSPORT. The report has claimed that Ligue 1 club Marseille have already reached an agreement with Premier League outfit United over Greenwood.

TalkSPORT has reported that Marseille will pay United a transfer fee of £26.7 million for Greenwood. That includes a fixed fee of £23.3 million with a further £3.4 m in add-ons. United will also receive 50 per cent of any future sale of Greenwood, who came through the English club’s youth academy.

Greenwood spent the 2023-24 season on loan at Getafe from United. The 22-year-old English forward scored eight goals and gave six assists in 30 starts and three substitute appearances in La Liga last season. Marseille finished eighth in the Ligue 1 table last season with 50 points from 34 games. As for United, the Red Devils ended up eighth in the Premier League table in the 2023-24 campaign with 60 points from 38 games.
