Madhu Chopra hopes Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra collaborate on a film: 'Parineeti is a natural performer'

Bollywood’s Chopra sisters, Priyanka and Parineeti, have individually carved a niche for themselves in the film industry. However, despite their successful careers, the two have never shared screen space. Recently, Priyanka’s mother, Madhu Chopra, reacted to the possibility of them coming together for a project and expressed her hopes that it might happen.
In a recent interview with Lehren Retro, Madhu Chopra was asked whether Parineeti’s family had any reservations about her entering the film industry. She dismissed any such concerns, explaining that Priyanka’s success had already opened doors for the family in Bollywood. “Once Priyanka came, it was like a world opening up,” she shared, adding that Parineeti’s choice to join films was welcomed with enthusiasm.
Speaking about the Chopra sisters’ career trajectories, Madhu noted that there seemed to be an unexplainable pull between them and the entertainment world. “There is some sort of magnet between the Chopra girls and the film industry,” she remarked. She also praised Parineeti’s acting skills, calling her a “natural performer” and a director’s “geeli matti” (malleable clay), suggesting that she can adapt seamlessly to any role.
When asked about the chances of Priyanka and Parineeti collaborating on a film, Madhu Chopra responded with excitement, saying, “Aapke muh me laddu! I hope so.” Her enthusiastic reply has sparked speculation about whether the sisters will finally come together for a much-anticipated project.
Meanwhile, the Chopra family recently celebrated a joyous occasion. Priyanka’s brother, Siddharth Chopra, tied the knot with Neelam Upadhyaya in February 2025. Priyanka, accompanied by her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie, attended the pre-wedding festivities. Parineeti was also present with her husband, politician Raghav Chadha.
On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra has landed in Hyderabad for her next Indian film. She will be starring in SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated jungle adventure, alongside superstar Mahesh Babu. The film is expected to be a grand cinematic spectacle. Her previous outing was in the series ‘Citadel’ which received average reviews.
Parineeti, on the other hand, is gearing up for her OTT debut. She is currently shooting for a mystery thriller series , which also stars Soni Razdan, Jennifer Winget, and Tahir Raj Bhasin.
