Kunickaa Sadanand says Amitabh Bachchan would sit on six chairs on 'Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love' set: 'You can’t compare Shah Rukh Khan to him'

Actress Kunickaa Sadanand recently reminisced about her time working alongside Amitabh Bachchan in the 2001 film ‘Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love‘ and shared her wish to kidnap Shah Rukh Khan once, along with how he reacted to it.
During an interview with Hindi Rush, Kunickaa described Bachchan as a “delight” to collaborate with, highlighting his ability to maintain an upbeat environment. “He would keep the atmosphere on the set so vibrant. He would joke around with everyone. Rakhee ji ki bohot taang kheenchte the (He would pull Rakhee Gulzar’s leg),” she recalled.
She also admired how Bachchan never carried his stardom onto the sets. The actress learned from Big B how to stay grounded despite fame. The Gumrah actress showered praise on Bachchan for his professionalism on set, calling him a pure actor. “He is still there on KBC, and people still watch him. He is the mahanayak. Either it was Dilip Kumar or it is Amitabh Bachchan. Shah Rukh is definitely there, but you can’t compare him to Amitabh Bachchan. Perhaps he will gain that status by the time he reaches Amitabh Bachchan’s age,” she said. She believes that Big B never considers himself superior but treats everyone on set equally.

Kunickaa also revealed Bachchan’s need for six chairs due to his long legs. “There was just one thing that he required. He needed six chairs on the set because he has long legs and couldn’t sit on just one chair, so six chairs would be stacked on top of one another,” she explained.
She also expressed her admiration for Shah Rukh Khan, referring to him as the epitome of romance. She shared a lighthearted anecdote about jokingly telling the superstar that she would kidnap him. “For me, romance is personified by Shah Rukh Khan, or rather, Shah Rukh Khan personifies romance. I once told him, ‘I will kidnap you,’ to which he asked, ‘When?’” she added.
‘Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love’, directed by Suneel Darshan, also featured Akshay Kumar, Rakhee Gulzar, Juhi Chawla, Karisma Kapoor, and Mohnish Bahl in key roles.
