Kishore Kumar had a sixth sense about his death, recalled his son Amit Kumar: 'Leena thought he was playing a prank'

The legendary singer, actor Kishore Kumar passed away on October 13, 1987 due to heart-attack. In an old interview, his son Amit Kumar had revealed that he had a sixth sense about his death. He had recalled the day of his father’s demise and said that he had symptoms of heart-attack. Kishore Kumar was with his wife Leena Chandavarkar that day.
Amit Kumar had revealed in an old interview with Rediff, “On that day, he refused to allow [Amit’s stepbrother] Sumeet to go swimming and was very anxious that my flight from Canada would land on time. He was suffering from symptoms of a heart attack but joked that if we called a doctor, he would have a heart attack. In fact he was laughing and talking with Leena when he keeled over. Leena at first thought that he was playing a prank.”
Kishore Kumar was initially married to Ruma in 1950. But their marriage ended as she wanted a career. Later he got married to Madhubala but as the actress passed away, he was in deep depression.
