Karnataka Toddler Dies After Accidentally Swallowing Lid of Juice Bottle – News18

In a tragic incident in Karnataka’s Haraguvalli village, a one-and-a-half-year-old child allegedly died after swallowing a juice bottle lid. The incident took place on Wednesday morning while the child was playing at his home in the Amatekoppa village panchayat of Shivamogga district’s Shikaripura taluk.

The toddler accidentally swallowed the lid of the juice bottle and it got stuck in his throat, causing breathing difficulties. The child’s father, Vedamurthy Gangadharaiah Shastri, and his mother rushed him to the hospital but unfortunately, their efforts were in vain. Despite immediate action to get the child to the hospital, he passed away.

Regardless of how vigilant parents are with young children, sometimes such incidents become inevitable. In a household with kids, supervision must be constant and thorough. Missing even a single small object can lead to tragic consequences.
