As per a Sacnilk.com report, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone‘s film Kalki 2898 AD is looking to a bumper opening of more than Rs 200 crore. The movie will be able to touch the number with its Worldwide Box Office collection. The movie is looking forward to have an opening collection that is almost on par with biggies like RRR and Baahubali 2. Both the films crossed the mark of Rs 200 crore on the day one of their release. Through advance ticket bookings, Kalki 2898 AD has already reached the mark of Rs 55 crore in India. The Telugu version of the film is proving to be the biggest pull. In advance booking, it made around Rs 44 crore. Kalki 2898 AD is a pan-India film and has released in several languages including Hindi. It has made it to the theatres on Thursday and on a non-holiday. Despite that, the movie is running houseful in major cities. Given the buzz, there were many early morning shows too. Kalki 2898 AD is inspired from Mahabharata and is set in a dystopian future. Prabhas’ character is Bhairavaa, Deepika is Sumati while Amitabh Bachchan is Ashwathama. The movie made by Nag Ashwin also holds many cameos of big stars like Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur and many more. Fans are quite thrilled and excited to see these stars in Kalki 2898 AD. There is Disha Patanai too in a pivotal role. Keerthy Suresh has done the voice over for Bujji – Bhairava’s AI vehicle.
