Jr NTR reveals he’s nervous about Devara Part 1’s release, ‘After RRR, this is…’

The highly anticipated trailer of Jr NTR’s upcoming film Devara Part 1 was launched today in Mumbai, and it promises an intense ride packed with action and emotions. Jr NTR, who is known for his powerful performances, looks menacing in every frame, adding to the excitement for the film’s release. Directed by Koratala Siva, it also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. Speaking about the movie, Jr NTR opened up about his nervousness as Devara Part 1 marks his first solo release in six years, following the blockbuster success of RRR. He said, “I’m very nervous because after RRR, this is my next film. RRR was with my co-actor Ram Charan. This is my solo release after six years. There is a lot of nervousness building up, but I’m very happy to launch the trailer of Devara in the city of Mumbai because the experience we had when we were promoting RRR was just surreal. Further in this piece of entertainment news, Jr NTR revealed that Devara holds a special place in his heart, as it is not just a film for him, but a journey that he has shared with director Koratala Siva for many years. Reflecting on their long-standing relationship, Jr NTR mentioned, “Devara for me is not only a film, it’s a journey with Koratala Siva for so many years. We’ve known each other since my movie Vrindavanam where Siva was the writer. Our friendship has only grown, and my respect for him has increased with every film he has made.”

The story of Devara reportedly takes a different approach, with a protagonist who instills fear rather than courage in the hearts of people. Jr NTR explained how he loved the idea of how the protagonist isn’t the typical hero who gives courage to people. In fact, he instills fear in their minds.

Jr NTR’s last solo release was Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava in 2018, and fans are eager to see him in another powerful role. Devara is expected to release later this year, and the excitement surrounding the film is already at an all-time high. The movie will hit theatres on September 27, 2024. Furthermore, NTR will make his Bollywood debut with Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, which also stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.
