John Abraham Once Ate 64 Rotis!
John Abraham, known for his dedication to fitness, once consumed 64 rotis in one sitting after a football match in his youth. He shared this anecdote on The Kapil Sharma Show. John will next feature in ‘The Diplomat’, releasing on March 14, where he plays a diplomat on a mission to rescue the ‘Daughter of India’.

John Abraham has long been a fitness icon in India. Over the years, he has not only proven his mettle as an actor but has also been a strong advocate for health and fitness. In an interview, he once revealed that his favorite Indian sweet is Kaju Katli, but he hasn’t indulged in it for years due to his strict diet.

However, not many know that there was a time when John Abraham ended up eating a staggering 64 rotis in one sitting! Recalling the incident on The Kapil Sharma Show—a clip of which is currently going viral on social media—John shared that this happened when he was very young. After an intense football match, he visited a Gujarati Thali restaurant, which offered unlimited food.
As he sat down for lunch, he ended up eating 64 rotis one after another. He jokingly added that he was just making sure he got his money’s worth (laughs). John further shared that the waiter serving him pointed out that the meal also included rice, but he insisted on finishing the rotis first. Eventually, he enjoyed the rice as well.
On the work front, John Abraham will next be seen in The Diplomat, directed by Shivam Nair, which is slated for release on March 14. In the film, John’s character embarks on a life-threatening mission to rescue the ‘Daughter of India’ from captivity. Speaking about the film in a press note, John said,”Diplomacy is a battlefield where words carry more weight than weapons. Playing J.P. Singh allowed me to explore a world where power is defined by intellect, resilience, and quiet heroism. Uzma’s story is a testament to India’s strength and courage, and I’m proud to bring this inspiring journey to life on screen.”
John was last seen on the big screen in Nikkhil Advani’s Vedaa with Sharavri- the film failed to survive the box office as it clashed with Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree 2 and Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein.
