Joe Rogan announced his endorsement of Donald Trump, just hours before the former president will hold his final rally of the campaign.
Rogan announced the endorsement while promoting an interview with Elon Musk.
“The great and powerful Elon Musk,” Rogan wrote on X. “If it wasn’t for him we’d be f—ed. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump. Enjoy the podcast.”
Rogan’s podcast has more than 14 million followers, according to Spotify data released earlier this year. His audience also skews heavily male, with 51% of listeners falling in the 18-34 range, according to Edison Research.
Trump and his running mate, JD Vance, each appeared on Rogan’s podcast last month. Rogan had been talking to Kamala Harris’ campaign about the vice president guesting on his podcast, but he said that he balked at campaign demands that the interview be limited to one hour and that he travel to meet her on the campaign trail, rather than in his studio.
Trump has been holding his final rallies of his campaign. He appeared with another podcaster, former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, at a rally in Pittsburgh. “Ladies out there who want a bit of girl power in this election, let me tell you something: How can you win when the sons and the husbands and the brothers and the dads you love are losing? It’s not a win.”
