Ranveer Singh shared a unseen goofy video with Jaya Bachchan on the occasion of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’s first year anniversary. The veteran actress played Ranveer’s grandmother in the film. On Sunday, to celebrate one year of the film’s release, Ranveer dropped a never-before-seen video in which he and Jaya were seen making quirky faces.
In the video, Jaya and Ranveer appeared to be in between takes when they decided to make a funny video. The clip, a Boomerang, the Guddi actress was seen making faces and sticking out her tongue at Ranveer while he appeared surprised by her expression.
Ranveer shared the video, along with many other photos, and said, “Anniversary toh spashiyal day hota hai! Aap sab ne hamari film ko itna pyar diya.. by God i am just so heppi, soooo heppi!!! Bade-wale thanks aur Rocky-wali jhappi Love hai toh sab hai! ♥️”

Released in July 2023, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marked Karan Johar’s comeback as a director. The film starred Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Tota Roy Chowdhury and Anjali Anand among others. RRKPK was a quintessential KJo movie and was widely loved by all. It was also a big hit at the Indian box office and earned over Rs 350 crores. Karan Johar won the Best Director (Popular Choice) at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024 earlier this year.
Besides Ranveer, Alia Bhatt and Karan Johar also marked the film’s anniversary. Karan shared a video from the film and wrote, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani turns 1 today – and I am so heppy…so heppy! I am so humbled and grateful for the huge amount of love that has come my way this past year. The film was a celebration of Hindi cinema and I’m so honoured to have had such a celebrated cast and crew on the film!!!! @ranveersingh and @aliaabhatt have my heart forever! Best Rocky and Rani ever!!! Both of them made my life and job so easy! They came…I saw and they conquered…love you both from last life…”
