Jasprit Bumrah's wife Sanjana Ganesan confronts trolls: 'Our son is not a topic for your entertainment'

In a heartfelt Instagram story, Sanjana Ganesan took to social media to voice her frustration and concern over the unwarranted attention her son, Angad, has been receiving online. The cricketer’s wife shared a powerful message, expressing how Jasprit Bumrah and she go to great lengths to protect their young son from the harmful effects of social media.
Sanjana wrote, “Our son is NOT a topic for your entertainment.” She highlighted their efforts to shield Angad from the prying eyes of the internet, emphasizing that they were at the cricket stadium to support Jasprit, not to invite invasive scrutiny. “I completely understand the implications of bringing a child to a cricket stadium filled with cameras,” she said, but pointed out that their presence there was to offer support, not to be turned into viral content.
In her message, Sanjana also addressed the disturbing trend of internet users forming opinions about her one-and-a-half-year-old son based on mere moments captured on camera. “Throwing around words like trauma and depression in reference to a baby says so much about who we’re becoming as a community,” she wrote, expressing her sorrow over how quickly people are ready to label and judge, despite knowing nothing about their personal lives.
