ITA Airways has introduced a new Status Match campaign for its loyalty program, targeting frequent flyers from international markets. This initiative allows members who hold loyalty status with any of 19 different airlines to seamlessly upgrade to one of the higher tiers within the Volare program, enjoying its exclusive perks based on their current status. Furthermore, travelers who successfully apply for and receive the Status Match will be rewarded with 10,000 qualifying Volare points.
The Volare Status Match campaign is open until August 19, 2024, exclusively for Volare members residing outside of Italy. To join the campaign, participants must:
- Be enrolled in the Volare program or Volare AVVENTURA.
- Possess a frequent flyer card from one of the 19 listed airlines at a level higher than Volare’s entry-level tier.
- Have not taken part in previous Volare Status Match campaigns.
Volare is crafted for optimal simplicity and flexibility in both earning and using points. The program includes four exclusive clubs: Club Smart (entry-level), Club Plus, Club Premium, and Club Executive. Each tier provides various benefits such as additional baggage allowance, priority boarding and check-in, and personalized customer service. Through its commercial partnerships, Volare offers a broad array of services and products from ITA Airways and its partners. Members can earn points on ITA Airways flights and through airline partners or commercial partner services, enabling them to upgrade to higher tiers and enjoy even more premium services. The benefits increase with status, enhancing both multipliers and services.
Launched in March 2022, Volare has grown to over 2.1 million members globally. The program embodies the values of Freedom, Personalization, Choice, and Connection, delivering a dynamic, tailored experience for its members. Volare collaborates with more than 30 commercial partners spanning the hospitality, mobility, and finance sectors, as well as 10 airline partners, including Aerolineas Argentinas, AeroMexico, Air Europa, Air France, Delta, KLM, Korean Air, Middle East Airlines (MEA), Virgin Atlantic, and Saudia.
Emphasizing its international expansion, Volare currently boasts that 36% of its members are from outside Italy, with the USA, Brazil, France, and Argentina being the leading foreign markets. Recent developments include the introduction of “Volare AVVENTURA,” a new subprogram specifically designed for children aged 2 to 16, adding to the existing corporate and SME subprograms available to Volare members.
