Is Rekha a part of Hrithik Roshan starrer 'Krrish 4'? Rakesh Roshan REVEALS

Excitement for Krrish 4 is growing as filmmaker Rakesh Roshan reveals that legendary actress Rekha may be joining the cast, alongside Hrithik Roshan’s much-awaited return as the superhero.
On February 16, 2025, the Roshan family celebrated the success of their Netflix documentary The Roshans with a star-studded event. During the celebration, Rakesh Roshan and Rekha posed together for the paparazzi. When a photographer asked about Rekha’s role in Krrish 4, Rakesh’s lighthearted response sparked a wave of speculation on social media.
Videos from the party quickly went viral, with one clip standing out. In the video, Hrithik Roshan was seen holding Rekha’s hand while she praised him, sparking excitement among fans about a possible on-screen reunion.Rekha played the important role of Dr Sonia Mehra, Rohit’s mother, in Koi… Mil Gaya (2003). Her character was missing in Krrish 3, but if she returns for Krrish 4, it could suggest a big plot twist or a nostalgic callback to the earlier film.
Rakesh Roshan has spoken openly about the progress of Krrish 4. In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he confirmed that an official announcement for the film will be made soon. While he has stepped down from directing, he is still involved in overseeing the creative aspects of the project.

In a 2023 interview with Pinkvilla, Rakesh Roshan shared that the script for Krrish 4 is ready, though still being fine-tuned. He emphasized that while Bollywood may not match Hollywood’s superhero budgets, compelling storytelling and fresh ideas are crucial for success. Confident in the script, he assured fans that it will engage audiences from the very first scene.
In addition to Krrish 4, Hrithik Roshan is preparing for his next major release, War 2, the sixth film in YRF’s spy universe. Actor Ashutosh Rana has confirmed he will reprise his role as Colonel Sunil Luthra in the action-packed sequel. Hrithik will also star in Alpha, alongside Alia Bhatt and Sharvari.
