IPL 2025: 'We will blast your stadium' - DDCA receives threat email

NEW DELHI: The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) received an anonymous email on Friday morning which threatened to blow up the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The stadium in the national capital is home to the Delhi Capitals franchise and was scheduled to host the IPL 2025 fixture between DC and Gujarat Titans on May 11 before the tournament was suspended for a week.Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW!A top DDCA official confirmed the development to TimesofIndia.com and added that they have informed the Delhi Police about it.“Yes, we received a threat email this morning and have already forwarded it to the Delhi Police. They already swung into action and did an inspection of the venue some time back,” said the official.
