NEW DELHI: The Indian Premier League 2025 took a dramatic turn on Thursday evening as rising tensions between India and Pakistan forced an abrupt end to the Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals match in Dharamsala. IPL 2025 suspended indefinitely: What happens next?

Openers Prabhsimran Singh and Priyansh Arya hammered a 122-run stand in just 10 overs, giving fans something to cheer about. By May 9, with the threat level rising and multiple northern airports closed, the BCCI made the unprecedented decision to suspend IPL 2025. 16 matches remain in the season, but no clear date has been set for resumption.
