The fiery response from Rathi did not sit well with the SRH opener, who reacted angrily, hurling insults at Rathi and igniting a heated confrontation. Umpires and teammates quickly stepped in to break up the altercation. However, the tensions didn’t end there. During the post-match handshake, Abhishek was approached by LSG assistant coach Vijay Dahiya, who had a brief conversation with the Indian batter before he shook hands with Rathi.Later, BCCI VP Rajeev Shukla acted as a mediator, engaging in discussions with both Abhishek and Rathi after the match.Following his match-winning performance in Lucknow that helped Sunrisers secure victory, Abhishek addressed the on-field spat with Rathi, stating that both players had talked it out afterward and everything was fine.In the post-match presentation, Abhishek added, “I spoke to him after the game, and it is all good now,” referring to his altercation with Digvesh.
