Ranthambore, Rajasthan: It is one of the biggest tiger sanctuaries in India and was formerly the hunting ground of the imperial Jaipur Maharajas. The reserve has a sizable tiger population and covers an area of 1.134 sq. km. It is famous for being the home of Bengal tigers. You must go on a safari while you are here. Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve, Uttarakhand: The Jim Corbett Tiger Reserve, located at the base of the Himalayas, is perhaps the greatest tiger reserve in India. The national park, which has a vast 500 sq. km. of land, was created in 1936. Only a handful of tiger reserves have the same abundance of vegetation as Jim Corbett in Uttarakhand. Another alluring option to tour the area is an elephant safari. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh: The Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, one of India’s top tiger sanctuaries, is frequented by hundreds of people each day. Kanha National Park, Madhya Pradesh: Kanha National Park, also known as Kanha Tiger Reserve, is one of Asia’s best-kept national parks and home to India’s famed Bengal tigers. Along with Indian elephants, sloth bears, and numerous birds, the deer and antelopes they hunt roam the lovely forests and meadows. The Kaziranga Tiger Reserve, which was designated a Tiger Reserve in 2006, has the highest density of tigers of any protected location in India and the whole globe. The fourth tiger reserve in the state of Assam, Kaziranga National Park is an Indian World Heritage Site.
