Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality brand, has announced the signing of a new Taj hotel in Ranchi, Jharkhand. This greenfield project signifies IHCL’s entry into Ranchi and will be developed on a six-acre land parcel leased from the State Government of Jharkhand. Situated in Dhurwa, the hotel’s prime location ensures excellent connectivity and visibility. The 200-key Taj Ranchi will feature a variety of modern amenities, including extensive banqueting facilities, a diverse range of food and beverage options, and a state-of-the-art wellness center.
Ranchi is undergoing significant infrastructure development as part of its transformation into a smart city. The hotel’s strategic location within the Core Capital Area will place it at the center of the city’s new central business district, close to the Vidhan Sabha, government offices, and corporate headquarters.
With this addition, IHCL will have a total of six hotels in Jharkhand, including one currently under development.

The hotel’s prime location in Dhurwa, offers excellent connectivity and visibility. The 200-key Taj, Ranchi will offer guests a range of modern amenities, including extensive banqueting areas, a diverse selection of food and beverage options, and a well-equipped wellness center.
