Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill train at the ICC Academy ahead of Champions Trophy final

TimesofIndia.com in Dubai: On eve of the ICC Champions Trophy final against New Zealand, India captain Rohit Sharma and vice captain Shubman Gill went for a hit at the ICC Academy with some members of support staff and throwdown experts on Saturday. They trained at the academy in the presence of batting coach Shitanshu Kotak and assistant coach Abhishek Nayar.
The rest of the team was scheduled to train at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium from 2 pm local time but Rohit and Gill were sweating it out earlier in the day too.

The entire team, except Rohit and Gill, reached the stadium for the practice session, before the duo too joined them after a while. Rohit and Gill didn’t come in the team bus as they were practicing at the ICC Academy. Gill will attend the pre-match press conference later in the day.
The likes of Hardik Pandya, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, KL Rahul, coach Gautam Gambhir, bowling coach Morne Morkel all arrived at the stadium in the afternoon. They are scheduled to have a fielding session under the baking sun.
