I don’t like the term Hero, says Rajkummar Rao

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Rajkummar Rao said that he doesn’t like to be called a hero, the actor feels that he is an actor and not a hero. Rao is currently busy promoting his upcoming film Bheed with co-star Bhumi Pednekar.

“I never used the term Hero in my life. You will never see in my interviews saying mein isme hero ka role karunga. I dont like this term hero for some reason. I never thought growing up ki mujhe bade hoke hero banna hain (I want to grow up to be a hero). We all thought that I want to be an actor,” Rao said.

Directed by Anubhav Sinha, Bheed also stars Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra, Pankaj Kapur, Ashutosh Rana. The film will release on March 24.
