Hrithik Roshan's leg injury delays 'War 2' dance-off with Jr NTR to May: Report
Hrithik Roshan’s leg injury has delayed the ‘War 2’ dance-off with Jr NTR until May 2025. Despite this, promotional plans remain unchanged as all main actors have completed their shoots, and the film is in post-production. ‘War 2’ is set to release in August 2025.

The highly anticipated Bollywood film ‘War 2’ has been generating significant buzz, particularly with the news of a dance-off between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Fans were excitedly looking forward to this sequence, but it has now been revealed that Hrithik Roshan has suffered a leg injury. Consequently, the filming of the dance-off has been delayed until May 2025.
According to a recent report in Bollywood Hungama, Hrithik got a niggle in his leg during the rehearsals of his dance track for ‘War 2’. The portal’s source revealed that the doctors recommended the actor not to take a risk. Roshan will reportedly be relaxing his leg out for four weeks.
Reportedly, the dance-off song featuring Hrithik and Jr NTR in ‘War 2’ is now scheduled to be filmed in May due to Hrithik’s leg injury. Despite this delay, the movie’s promotional plans will proceed as planned, as all main actors have completed their shoots, and the film is in post-production.
Roshan recently celebrated 25 years in the film industry, marked by the re-release of his debut film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’. During a special screening, he discussed ‘War 2’ with Radio Nasha, choosing it over ‘Dhoom 2’ due to its upcoming release and his preparation for a grand dance track. He humorously expressed hope that his legs would remain strong for the performance.
‘War 2’ is the sequel to the 2019 film ‘War’, directed by Ayan Mukerji. It stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, and is scheduled for release in August 2025.
