NEW DELHI: The Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 qualifiers are set to take place from April 9-19 in Lahore, Pakistan. The round-robin tournament will feature 15 games, with the Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) Stadium serving as the two venues.
The qualifiers will involve six teams vying for the two remaining spots in the upcoming Women’s Cricket World Cup in India, scheduled for October and November 2025.
The participating teams include four full members — Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, and Ireland — who finished between seventh and tenth place in the ICC Women’s Championship standings.
Scotland and Thailand, the next two best-ranked sides in the Women’s ODI Team Rankings as of October 28, 2024, complete the lineup.
Australia, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and hosts India have already secured their places in the World Cup by virtue of finishing in the top six of the 10-team ICC Women’s Championship (2023-25).
