Canada’s police released the pictures of two suspects involved in the vandalism of the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple in the Greater Toronto Area.
In a statement, Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) said that in the photo, the suspects could be seen wearing hooded sweatshirts, leaving a pub in the downtown area, and walking to the Sri Krishna Brundavana Temple on Main Street South in Georgetown.
The incident took place at 1.10 am on March 30. The police also asked people to inform the team whoever saw or heard anything about the suspects.
“Security footage captured the suspects ripping down and damaging a sign at the front of the temple. Police are looking to identify the males and have attached their photos to this media release,” the statement read.
According to the Halton Hills Today, local news site, temple members discovered their Main Street South Hindu temple’s sign destroyed on Sunday morning.
Security footage revealed two men at the temple’s entrance. One individual seized the sign and pulled it forcefully. Upon breaking it, he tossed a fragment into the car park. His companion retreated to the pavement but could be heard laughing whilst the first individual continued destroying the sign.
The footage captured the primary perpetrator apparently stating ‘F****** terrorists’ on two occasions.
