Renowned actress Farida Jalal who is known for her iconic roles in several Bollywood blockbusters such as Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Dil Toh Pagal Hai among others. The actress recently recalled laughing while playing Rishi Kapoor’s mother in the film Henna even though she was only a couple of years older than the late actor.
Farida said, “It was offered to me. Henna, which was my comeback film after eight years, had Rishi Kapoor. I was opposite him in Bobby. I might have been older than him by two or five years, but I played his mother in Henna,” she said speaking to a leading media portal.
The actress has worked with many stars including Shah Rukh Khan in multiple films. She recalls the time when she underwent a surgery, following which she received a call from the megastar asking about her whereabouts with a deep sense of concern.
