Legendary Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife Betsy Arakawa found dead at home

Gene Hackman (95), the two-time Oscar winner and author, and his wife Betsy Arakawahas (63) were found dead at home.
According to The Mirror, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza has confirmed that the couple breathed passed away and their dog was also found dead in the home. However, in the entire scenario, no foul play is suspected so far, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican.
Sheriff Mendoza in an interview given to local media said there was no indication of foul play and the authorities as of now cannot comment on the time and cause of death.
The news has sent shockwaves all around. The near and dear ones of the couple are in a state of disbelief, they are unable to process the news of their demise.
Gene Jackman created a legacy with a career that lasted over sixty years. During the same, he received numerous accolades, including an Oscar for Best Actor in 1972 for his performance in ‘The French Connection.’ He also earned another Academy Award for his role in Unforgiven.
The list of his awards doesn’t end here! Throughout his career, he garnered two BAFTAs, four Golden Globes, three National Board of Review Awards, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Additionally, he received various honors from film critics.
Gene and Betsy had been married since 1991, but they largely avoided the public eye. The reclusive actor made a few rare appearances, including a lunch outing at a nearby restaurant.
Gene’s most recent film, a comedy titled ‘Welcome To Mooseport,’ was released in 2004, featuring him alongside Ray Romano and Christine Baranski. It wasn’t until several years later that he announced his retirement.
The tragic passing of Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa marks the end of an era for a beloved Hollywood icon and his partner. Gene’s extraordinary contributions to cinema and his remarkable talent will forever be remembered by fans and peers alike, leaving a lasting legacy in the film industry.
