The Great Hammerhead Shark is a highly sought-after fish in Roblox Fisch because of its rarity and size. While it’s a challenging catch like other Mythical fish, the way to obtain it isn’t similar to others. Moreover, it has specific conditions in all factors of time, weather, season, and bait. Here’s what you need to know about the Great Hammerhead Shark location and how to catch it.
Great Hammerhead Shark Location in Fisch
The Great Hammerhead Shark can be caught from the Ocean during the Shark Hunt event. Like other server events like Mutation Surge, Fish Abundance, Night of the Luminous, and more, there’s also Shark Hunt. During this, a random area on the map will spawn the Great Hammerhead Shark, the Great White Shark, or Whale Shark.
Make sure you already have the Fish Head bait to increase your chances, and if you don’t have it already, you can buy Bait Crates (Normal and Quality variants) and check whether you received Fish Head from them. The best time to catch the Great Hammerhead Shark is day, during windy weather and spring season.
Since it can be a big fish, make sure you have a rod that can sustain its weight — more specifically, you need something good like a Steady Rod which can catch more than 500KG. You may even catch a shark with mutation so it’s best to be prepared for this random event.
Remember that the announcement you’re looking for will be like this: “There has been a spotted Great Hammerhead Shark near Sunstone Island!” and as soon as you see it, hop onto your boat (or join a friend/random player) and reach the location. The area will be clearly marked so all you have to do is cast a line and wait.
Patience is key because you will have a lot of catches that are from the unusual, common, and other such lower rarities. When you do hook it, you will see a pink exclamation mark above your character’s head after which you must ensure that you don’t lose the fishing mini-game. Upon successful completion, you will have the Great Hammerhead Shark in Fisch along with the title of Shark Slayer.
