Final victory now within reach: CM

Raipur: CM Sai on Monday chaired a high-level review meeting on the ongoing anti-Maoist operations, at his office in the state secretariat, focussing on assessing the internal security situation in the state.
The meeting was attended by home minister Vijay Sharma, and senior police and CRPF officials.
Speaking at the meeting, CM Sai emphasized that the Chhattisgarh govt, under the leadership of PM Modi and HM Shah, is firmly committed to making the state free from Maoism. “Our target is to achieve the complete eradication of Naxalism by March 2026, and we are making every possible effort in this direction,” he said.
The CM praised the courage, dedication, and professionalism of the security personnel, stating that their bravery has led to the liberation of many areas from Maoist influence. “The final victory is now within reach,” Sai added, urging the forces to maintain high morale. He also stressed the importance of balancing security efforts with developmental initiatives.
