'Fateh moment': Mohammed Shami hails Indian army's 'Operation Sindoor'

Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami joined other sports personalities in praising the Indian armed forces for executing Operation Sindoor on May 7, a retaliatory strike against terror targets following the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.The Indian Air Force conducted precision strikes on nine terror launchpads across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, targeting facilities of banned groups Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba, without entering Pakistani airspace.“The Indian Armed Forces turned adversity into a powerful Fateh moment. Their courage and valor in the face of danger have made us all proud,” Shami posted on his social media platform X.Several cricket personalities showed their support for the military action through social media posts.
