Fans SLAM Shehnaaz Gill for her 'You can't afford me' comment in viral video: 'Even if it was a joke...'

Shehnaaz Gill is facing criticism after a video of her conversation with an entrepreneur went viral. In the clip, a woman asks her to be the face of her haircare brand, but Shehnaaz’s response didn’t go over well. Many netizens felt she was being arrogant and expressed their disappointment online.
In the video, the woman excitedly asks Shehnaaz if she would endorse her brand. Shehnaaz quickly responds, “Do you have money to pay me?” The entrepreneur playfully says she can pay immediately, but Shehnaaz replies, “You can’t afford me,” before pointing to her manager and suggesting she talk to him.

Although the entrepreneur took it lightly and played along, social media users were not impressed. Many criticized Shehnaaz, calling her response arrogant and dismissive. They felt her tone seemed rude and showed an elitist attitude.

While one user wrote, ‘YOU CAN’T AFFORD ME? Who even is she? What has she done to have this much arrogance?’, another one added, ‘Even if it was a joke, it was unnecessary’. A comment also read, ‘ghamandi aurat’.

Despite the criticism, Shehnaaz remains widely loved by fans. She recently featured in the music video Sajna Ve Sajna, sung by Sunidhi Chauhan and Divya Kumar, which garnered millions of views. Her stunning look and energetic dance moves in the video further reinforced her strong presence in the entertainment industry.
Shehnaaz gained popularity with Bigg Boss 13 and made her Bollywood debut in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023). She also appeared in Thank You For Coming alongside Bhumi Pednekar the same year. However, her Bollywood journey is still in its early stages.
