
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) skipper Rajat Patidar and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Pat Cummins have been fined for their respective teams’ slow over-rate offences during their recent Indian Premier League (IPL) match.In an official statement, the IPL confirmed that Patidar was fined Rs 24 lakh as it was RCB’s second over-rate offence of the season. Under the IPL’s Code of Conduct, repeat infractions carry steeper penalties. SRH posted a commanding total of 231/6, before their bowlers restricted RCB to 189 all out.
