In a recent interview with Filmfare, Chhaya Kadam opened up about working with Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao. The actress reveals that both Aamir and Kiran are down to earth and respectful towards everyone around them.
Speaking about director of Laapataa Ladies, Kiran Rao, Chhaya said “she never shouted on sets, instead taught us to learn from our mistakes. She gives her best to her film. Although the production belongs to them, they spend time ideating and finalising the topic. Chhaya says, Both Aamir and Kiran are such warm, hospitable and loving people. They believe in respecting talent and it feels that no matter where you come from, once you are associated with them, you are a part of their family.” She further added, “I never imagined sitting next to the same man I saw in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and having conversations with him.”
Chhaya Kadam is currently basking in the success of her film’s victory at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival which made the country immensely proud of not just the film but also the versatility of actors in it.
