The England and Wales Cricket Board has confirmed that Chris Woakes will join the England Lions squad for their upcoming matches against India A starting May 30. Woakes, who missed the Zimbabwe Test due to an ankle injury that delayed his summer start, aims to prove his fitness and secure a spot in England’s Test squad for the five-match series against India in June.The 36-year-old veteran will be part of a Lions squad that includes international players Rehan Ahmed and Dan Mousley.
