Emraan Hashmi takes a classic dig at Kangana Ranaut for calling award shows ‘useless’

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has always expressed her opinion about not liking to attend award shows as they are all about TRPs. She added saying that in an award show a star performs and then gets an award. Well, now Emraan Hashmi has reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s claim of avoiding award shows. During a podcast interview with Subhankar Mishra, he said that he appeared to express his opinion about Kangana’s statement. During the interview was asked if he feels award shows are useless like Kangana does. To which Emraan said, that Kangana Ranaut stopped getting awards. He even said that he forgot which award he got but later realized what goes on behind this, that if one performs for them it’s a deal. Emraan further added that he will not diss them, but those who want to decorate their living rooms can attend award shows. He even said that he could not do that because it must have some honesty based on the actor’s performance, otherwise there is no value. On the work front, Emraan worked with Kangana in Gangster, Raaz: The Mystery Continues, and Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. He was last seen in Showtime.
