'Hey Elon Musk, when you finally get the nerve to climb into a rocket ship...': Astronauts attack over Suni Williams 'lie'
Elon Musk claimed the return of Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore has been delayed because of political reasons.

Astronauts, present and former, turned the heat on Elon Musk after in a recent Fox interview, Musk claimed Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore are stuck in space because of political reasons. It all started when Danish astronaut Andreas Mogensen called Elon Musk’s claim a lie and then Elon Musk clapped back calling Mogensen ‘idiot’ and ‘retarded’.
In the interview, Elon Musk said the Biden administration delayed bringing the two astronauts who went to space for a 10-day mission and then remained there because of technical glitches. Musk said he now has the go-ahead from President Donald Trump and the two astronauts will be brought back.
As Mongesen called out Elon Musk, Musk elaborated that he offered to bring them back earlier — directly to the Biden administration but the proposal was refused. “Return WAS pushed back for political reasons,” Musk doubled down on the point and also abused Mogensen.
This did not end here as astronaut Scott Kelly chimed in and defended Mogensen. Kelly said Mogensen does not deserve this kind of disrespect. “I was the Commander of the ISS when Andy (Mogensen) flew his first space mission. He is one of the most competent, trustworthy, and honest people I’ve ever met. This rhetoric is beyond the pale but, sadly, not surprising. He does not deserve this kind of disrespect,” Kelly wrote.
Elon Musk reacted to it and said he did (deserve this kind of disrespect). “He is an idiot who publicly attacked me, despite having no idea what ACTUALLY happened. Btw, your brother claims to be independent, but is just a Dem donor shill,” Elon Musk wrote.
The brother in question is astronaut-turned-senator Mark Kelly who then entered the war of words and hinted that Elon Musk does not even have the nerve to slimb a rocket. “Hey @ElonMusk, when you finally get the nerve to climb into a rocket ship, come talk to the three of us,” Mark Kelly said.
