ED conducted raids at the residence of AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora in Punjab’s Jalandhar in connection with a money laundering case.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday conducted raids at the residence of AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora in Punjab’s Jalandhar in connection with a money laundering case linked to alleged fraudulent land transactions.
Arora, who owns a private business, allegedly transferred land to his company through fraudulent means, claimed the ED sources. Raids are underway at his Jalandhar residence, they added.
Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP leader Manish Sisodia accused the probe agency of targeting opposition leaders one after another.
Confirming the development, Sisodia took to X and wrote, “Once again, PM Modi has unleashed his “parrots”. Since this morning, ED is raiding the house of Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora.”
