'Discussions held on 14 different proposals': Uttar Pradesh deputy CM Pathak on cabinet meeting
Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak has said that discussions were held on 14 key proposals in the Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media, Pathak emphasized the state’s commitment to swiftly implementing these initiatives, highlighting that over the past eight years, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly developing its infrastructure.
“Today, discussions were held on 14 different proposals, and it is our commitment that we will implement them as soon as possible. Discussions were held on important issues regarding the all-round development of the state,” Pathak said.
Uttar Pradesh Minister Sanjay Nishad accused the previous governments of misusing people’s money.
“The previous governments misused people’s money, because of which they were voted out,” Nishad said.
Earlier on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reiterated his demand for ‘One Nation, One Election‘, saying frequent elections lead to instability and hinder development in the country.
Addressing the state-level conference on ‘one nation-one election’ campaign, Chief Minister Adityanath said “frequent elections in democracy put unnecessary pressure on the public, create political instability, hinder possibilities of development in the country and encourage corruption in public life.”
Chief Minister Adityanath said political stability is essential for peace, security, and development and frequent elections should be avoided.
“Political stability is the first condition for peace, the first condition for security, and the first condition for development, and for that, political stability, there should not be frequent elections,” he said.
He further said that frequent elections impact the GDP and halt the growth rate. (
