Nora Fatehi is known for her dance and songs in the industry but the actress also has a great sense of humour which is quite evident off-screen. Nora recently was an at awards show which was hosted by Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan. While she was sitting in the audience, Karan asked Nora to choose someone who would be a perfect match for Kartik and she would win a free holiday to London.
At the IIFA awards, Karan asked this to Nora, reacting to it she said, “Am I going with you?” Karan responded, “You don’t have to go with either of us. We’ll give you a ticket, and you can go with anyone you want.” Karan added, “if you tell us who you think is the perfect match for Kartik. It could be you as well. I know you’re single.”
To this, Nora replied, “Koi hai iss industry mein jisko aapne abhi tak date nahi kiya? (Is there anyone in the industry you haven’t dated yet?)” This left Kartik blushing and the audience started cheering. However, Kartik clarified that she’s simple asking him a question.
This fun jibe which Nora took at Kartik comes amidst his dating rumours with Sreeleela who is teamed opposite him in his upcoming love story directed by Anurag Basu. These rumours started as Sreeleela was spotted at a party thrown for Kartik’s sister and the video went viral.
Meanwhile, Kartik’s mother added more fuel to these rumours as she said at the same awards show that the only criterion for a girl to get married to Kartik is that she should be a doctor and Sreeleela has already completed her MBBS in 2021.
