Dhruv Rathee REACTS to SC ordering Ranveer Allahbadia to not leave India without court's approval: 'Height of stupidity'

In the ongoing India’s Got Latent controversy, the Supreme Court recently instructed Ranveer Allahbadia to submit his passport and seek permission from the court before leaving the country. The court also stated that if any additional FIRs are filed in Jaipur related to the same allegations, his arrest will remain stayed.
Reacting to the same, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee took to his X handle and wrote, ‘Height of stupidity.. Is he some criminal?’
The court further condemned the behaviour in question, emphasising that popularity does not give anyone the right to disregard societal norms. It criticized the offensive language used, suggesting that it reflected a deeply troubling mindset. The court questioned why such behavior should be protected, expressing disapproval of the individual’s actions.
Justice Kant described the remarks as indicative of a “perverted mind,” criticizing the language for its shameful impact on families and society. He strongly condemned the behavior, pointing out that the judicial system is guided by law and that any threats against Allahbadia will be handled accordingly by the legal system.

Ranveer Allahbadia had approached the Supreme Court seeking to challenge multiple FIRs filed against him for allegedly making inappropriate comments on a YouTube show. He also requested that all the FIRs be consolidated into a single case. The court is addressing the legal proceedings related to these allegations.
