The air quality deteriorated in Delhi while it remained fairly stable in Mumbai on Monday morning.
The national capital was enveloped in a thick layer of smog early Monday morning as the air quality in the city remained in the ‘Very Poor’ category but the AQI plunged further to 347, according to the Central Pollution Control Board data at 7 am.
The AQI in Delhi on Sunday at 4 pm was recorded at 334 while the air quality index score in Mumbai was 141.
Mumbai, the financial capital of India, was covered with smog as the air quality hovered in the ‘Moderate’ category with an AQI score of 140 today.
