The poster, revealed on March 15, marks Warner’s debut in Indian cinema and has already created a buzz among fans. The caption on the poster fittingly reads, “After shining on the ground, it is time for him to shine on the silver screen.”
Directed by Venky Kudumula and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Robinhood promises to be an action-packed entertainer. The film features Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead roles, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. This project marks the second collaboration between Nithiin and director Venky after their successful romantic action-comedy Bheeshma.
Warner’s association with Telugu cinema is not new. The former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain, who led the team to an IPL title in 2016, became a fan favourite not only for his cricketing exploits but also for his love of Telugu songs and dance moves. During the COVID-19 lockdown, Warner’s reels and TikTok videos, where he grooved to popular Telugu tracks like ‘Srivalli’ from ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Mind Block’ from ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, won the hearts of many fans.
With his charm and love for Indian cinema already well-known, Warner’s entry into Tollywood has left his admirers thrilled.
