Megastar Chiranjeevi will be working on multiple announced films and one of them is with director Anil Ravipudi who recently delivered a Sankranti super hit in ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’ starring Venkatesh Daggubati. Recent reports suggest that the film is expected to be shot in a short period making it one of the quickest projects.
As per a Gulte report, the ‘Godfather’ actor wants to wrap up the shoot of the film in three months with the production expected to begin in May 2025 and mostly likely to end by October 2025.
The film is planned for a Sankranti 2026 release, with Anil Ravipudi’s tradition of delivering hits during this festive season. Although details about the storyline remain under wraps, it is expected to be a full-fledged comedy-entertainer, a genre Chiranjeevi is revisiting after years. Chiranjeevi is expected to be seen in a new avatar, as he is expected to change his style and diction for this role.
Apart from this collaboration with Anil Ravipudi, Chiranjeevi has several other projects in the pipeline. He is working on ‘Vishwambhara’, a socio-fantasy film which is expected to be released on May 9, 2025, featuring Trisha, Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath.
Additionally, he has a bloody action-packed gangster drama with Srikanth Odela, which has been officially announced but lacks further details.

According to a 123Telugu report, Srikanth Odela expressed his admiration for Chiranjeevi, stating that he grew up watching his films and is thrilled to work with him. He aims to showcase Chiranjeevi in an age-appropriate and fresh role, different from his vintage persona. He further shared that the script was finalized within 48 hours. Srikanth Odela, known for his raw storytelling in ‘Dasara’, is expected to portray the ‘Indra’ actor in a raw and rustic manner.
